A small kitchen, a long list of family recipes.
Maria Petit Food Boutique started the way most good things do — at a family table. The recipes are the ones Maria grew up with: a Wednesday pot roast, a Friday feijoada simmered slow, a quiche pulled warm from the oven, and a cup of coffee poured while the day got going.
Today, that same kitchen lives at 227 E Lake Ave in Auburndale. Everything is made in small batches — bowls and sandwiches built to order, finger foods baked through the morning, salads tossed when you sit down.
We're a boutique, which is to say: we make a little, we make it well, and when it's gone for the day, it's gone. Come early. Stay a while.
